What is Normal?
- Essentially, nothing is ever normal. Everything is unique. If we look at it, “Normal” can be defined as the action or reaction that occurs most often due to a certain cause. "Normal" is conformity. For example, should Mr. Cummins crack a joke in the middle of class and everyone laughs except for one person, the people who are laughing would be considered acting “Normal” whereas the person who did not laugh is not “normal”, or “abnormal”. Unusual may also be used. To be abnormal is to simply be different, and to be normal is to be the same. Everyone is abnormal.
